Women’s Woodworking Week with Lizabeth Moniz

This week-long class allows students to be able to safely explore the wood shop on a deeper level using both power and hand tools. Each student will build a Shaker end table with a beveled top, tapered legs, mortise and tenon joinery, and a drawer. Students will learn how to bring rough sawn wood to a finished and beautiful state, incorporating a variety of tools, all the while becoming more comfortable in the wood shop. This class is suitable for all skill levels!
